The apartment is much further from the Gare Du Nord train station than I originally thought. Once we made it we had some trouble locating the entrance as the building is gated. The entire place has so much potential to be very nice, but the furniture, kitcheneare & everything seems slapped together. For example, the pillow case that says "Playmate" is not professional at all. When we arrived, we were told the owner would be there to fix the light bulbs that were out. We were also a little confused as to why the lights weren't fixed before we arrived at 3:30 PM. Lights were also out in the middle bedroom, but not fixed. Also the "building guardian" came by one day unannounced and did something in kitchen closet -- was a bit strange since we didn't know who he was. The washer/dryer combo was a great addition to this place since we pack light and need to launder our clothes frequently. We stayed with 4 adults, 1 child (3), and 1 baby (17 months) -- the amount of space in this apartment is very welcomed as it's truly a huge place. 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, 1 bathroom with a shower only and 1 bathroom with a toilet and sink only. The apartment is very secure - gated, locked building, key to use the stairs. There are two very nice playgrounds for kids directly at the apartment. There is a Lidl grocery store about 10 minutes walking away. The metro is about 7-10 minutes walking -- as well as the bus. (Belleville stop)
