Mullins Beach:
Mullins Beach, located on the North West coast, is a lively and popular destination known for its powdery sands and gentle waves. There are amazing restaurants near by such as Sea Shed and CiCi’s Beach Bar. This is one of the best beaches in Barbados for swimming and snorkeling!

Batts Rock Beach:
Batts Rock beach is, in my opinion, one of the best beaches in Barbados. The natural coral rock formations create a stunning backdrop for your beach experience. Here there is a large parking are, a shower and restroom facility, beach chair rentals, and it’s home to La Cabane - a wonderful beach front restaurant. The water is usually a clear aquamarine color and you can occasionally you’ll even spot some sea turtles!

Paynes Bay:
Paynes Bay, on the west coast, is known for its calm and crystal-clear waters. With beach chair rentals and shower facilities, it's a great choice for a relaxing beach day.

Brighton Beach:

Pebbles Beach:
We spend a lot of time in Carlisle Bay. Pebbles Beach offers calm, crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. If you visit Pebbles Beach be sure to get a fish cutter from Cuz’! It is in Carlisle Bay that you can swim with sea turtles or explore ship wrecks. You can also learn to sail, paddle board, and on occasion, there are waves big enough to surf.

Brandon's Beach:
Tucked away on the west coast, Brandon's Beach is a picturesque spot offering a more local experience. You can grab lunch at Rascals Restaurants or head across the street for a rum tasting at the Mount Gay visitor center.

Heywoods Beach:
Heywoods Beach, nestled on Barbados' North west coast, is a tranquil retreat celebrated for its golden sands and calm waters. This beach is an ideal spot for relaxation. Bring your own towels, chairs, and umbrella as there are no facilities here. There is a small parking area. This is one of the most family friendly beaches in Barbados and one of the best beaches for snorkeling in Barbados. Be sure to stop by The Caboose after your beach day to get one of the best fish cutters in Barbados!

Reeds Bay:
Reeds Bay has a small parking lot located between two small restaurants. You can rent beach chairs and there is a foot wash station located near the parking area. We love this beach for its pristine clear waters that are usually calm and offer great snorkeling and swimming. You can seek shade under the palms or rent an umbrella. This is a great family friendly beach in Barbados.

South Coast Beaches:
Accra Beach (Rockley):
Also known as Rockley Beach, Accra Beach is located on the South Coast. This beach is a vibrant and lively beach known for its soft white sands and clear, turquoise waters. The beach is located near several food options such as Chefette, The Dutchie, The Tiki Bar (so good!), and if you’re looking for something a bit fancier, check out Champers. This beach is also a short walk to Starbucks if you’re needing a caffeine fix. LOCAL TIP: Check out the t-shirt vender located by Tiki Bar, he makes all of his own Bajan shirts!

Also known as Miami Beach, Enterprise Beach on the south coast offers a lively atmosphere with crystal-clear waters. Dover Beach offers the best of everything. This beach is home stunning waters, white sands, life guards, shade from the palms, and plenty of beach chair rentals. Here you will find many cafes, hotels, and complete relaxation.

Bottom Bay

Bottom Bay has limited facilities.

Silver Sands Beach on the south coast is a haven for surf enthusiasts. While amenities are minimal, the consistent waves attract local surfers, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Bring your own essentials for a day of sun and surf.

East Coast Beaches:
Bathsheba Beach:
Bathsheba, Barbados is located on the less popular East Coast. The East Coast, or Green Coast - and Bathsheba is one of the best beaches Barbados!
We absolutely love going to the East Coast to swim in the natural sea pools, climb through the open rock caves, search for sea shells, and just enjoy the diversity of the rocky coast. This coast is not safe for swimming in the ocean, but pools are crystal clear and calm. The sea pools are absolutely perfect for swimming and safe!
Pro Tip: ONLY go when it’s low tide or you will not be able to walk among the coral rocks or swim in the natural sea pools.
Walkers Beach:
Walkers Beach is located on Barbados’ North East Coast. This rugged coast line is not good for swimming, but can be a surfer’s paradise. It’s located near the “Soup Bowl” which attracts surfers from all around the island. There are no facilities or life guards on this beach. Near this beach you will find the Morgan Lewis Mill, Grenade Hall Forest and Signal Station, Barclays Park, and Cherry Tree Hill.
